Krewe of Roux Parade Registration

Krewe of Roux Parade is open to all students, faculty and staff for participation.  The parade will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016. 

  1. Line up at 3:30 P.M. on Rex Street, in front of Griffin Hall.
  2. Parade route is Rex Street to St. Mary, turn RIGHT onto St. Mary, turn LEFT onto Hebrard Blvd. and right on Boucher Drive. Parade ends here in front of The U (Student Union).
  3. Participants may enter one vehicle (car or truck) or walk the parade route
  4. Only beads, doubloons, candy, cups and small lightweight items may be thrown, no glass or heavy items may be thrown.
  5. NO GLASS CONTAINERS ARE ALLOWED.
  6. No alcoholic beverages are allowed anywhere before, during or after the parade.
  7. Keep in mind that these rules are designed to protect those along the parade route as well as the parade participants.  Violation of any of these rules by the group or individual will result in University disciplinary action.
