Help keep UL Lafayette’s traditions alive and exciting by participating in the UPC Traditions Committee! Our committee organizes events throughout the year. The summer and fall semesters are filled with planning and organizing the events surrounding Homecoming Week, but the fun doesn’t end there. During the spring semester, the Traditions Committee plans our Lafayette Mardi Gras parade and ball, Krewe of Roux. This hard working committee also plans the University’s greatest tradition - Lagniappe Day! It’s the biggest crawfish boil of the year, with over 15,000 pounds of crawfish (allons manger, y'all!), live bands, games, and much, much more! Lagniappe Day guarantees you will pass a good time!!!
Meetings are held in the Helma Constantine Forum, Room 209 of the Student Union every other Tuesday at 5:00 pm, beginning Sep. 3, 2019.
