Traditions Committee
Help keep UL Lafayette’s traditions alive and exciting by participating in the UPC Traditions Committee!
Our committee organizes events throughout the year. We are currently working hard planning and organizing the events surrounding Homecoming Week, but the fun doesn’t end there. During the spring semester, the Traditions Committee plans our Krewe of Roux Mardi Gras parade and ball, This active and energetic committee also plans the University’s greatest tradition - Lagniappe Day! It’s the biggest crawfish boil of the year, with over 18,000 pounds of crawfish (allons manger, y'all!), music, games, and much, much more! Lagniappe Day guarantees you will pass a good time!!!
Meetings are held in the Helma Constantine Forum, Room 209B on the second floor of the Student Union, every other Tuesday. times and dates for Fall 2020 are currently being planned and will be posted soon!
