Welcome Week

Held the first week of classes in the fall. This consists of activities meant to greet students as they come back to campus or arrive for the first time. These activities include:

Monday, August 25th; Fruit and Donut Give-a-way - Located on the corner of Rex St. and St. Mary Blvd. University administrators, coaches and student leaders hand out the treats at 7:30 AM.

Wednesday, August 27th; Get On Board Day - Student organizations across campus set up tables near Broussard and Lee Halls from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM to promote their organizations. Students are able to walk from table to table to help find the organization(s) that would be best for them to join. This gives students the opportunity to discover ways to get involved and make new connections.

Get there early, only the first 300 students will bet to RUN!

Thursday, August 28th; Ragin' Roar - Help kick off the football season every fall with a ROAR! Ragin’ Roar is a pep rally and concert at Blackham Coliseum that is held the Thursday before the first home game at 7:00 PM. Students are invited to show their spirit and pride in our team.
