Help keep UL Lafayette’s traditions alive by participating in the Traditions Committee. This committee keeps busy throughout the year. The summer and fall semesters are filled with planning and organizing the events surrounding Homecoming week, but the fun doesn’t end there. In the spring semester the Traditions Committee is planning the first Lafayette Mardi Gras parade, Krewe of Roux. This hard working committee also plans the university’s greatest tradition - Lagniappe Week. It’s the biggest crawfish boil of the year with 10,000 pounds of crawfish, live bands, games and much, much more! The annual Lagniappe Festival guarantees you will PASS A GOOD TIME!!
Meetings are held on the first floor of Student Union in the UPC Office on Tuesday @ 3:30 p.m.
