Welcome Week 2020 is Here!

UL Lafayette welcomes all incoming new students and their families to Welcome Week 2020! This year's event has both in-person and online options, including:
 



Virtual Photo Booth
August 17 and 18, online all day!

The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership is providing a Virtual Photo booth that will be
available 24 hours a day on August 17 and August 18.

Click here; the link closes at midnight on Tuesday, August 18! Be sure to have your photos taken!

After taking your picture, you will be asked to input your phone number or email address, then you will receive your image shortly! We can’t wait to see your Welcome Week smiles!

 

Just Ask Me tents
Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18
from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

University faculty, staff, student leaders, and other volunteers will be around campus the first two days of school to answer the questions you may have. Maps and other resources are provided. Masks and water will also be distributed. Look for our tents with the big, "Ask Me" banners!

Ask Me tents will be in front of Billeaud Hall, at the corner of Rex St. and St Mary, and between Bonin and Coronna Halls, by the Student Union.
 

Virtual Involvement Fair
Get On Board!

Start your journey at UL Lafayette by exploring how you can get involved! There are hundreds of organizations and opportunities to choose from – by attending the virtual involvement fair,
you can start to determine what you may want to get involved in, and what peaks your interest.
You will also be able to meet student leaders
who are currently involved in organizations, campus programs, clubs, and more.
Our Virtual Fair will be open the entire semester!
Join the fair using your ULID and password in Engage!
 

Showroom Competition
Monday, August 17 to Monday, August 24
Judging taking place on Thursday, August 27

RHA presents its Showroom Competition! Students participate my taking pcitures of their dorm rooms and posting them on social media using the hashtag #SheauxMyRoom2020, and following RHA on Instagram and Twitter (ul_rha). Winning rooms can potentially be used as part of the University's virtual tours.
Winners for the competition will be announced on Friday, August 28!

 

Wutz Up with Student Success
Monday, August 17

This Welcome Week session allows students to access representatives from Student Success Initiatives
and ask questions about UNIV 100, New Student Convocation, Cajun Connection,
Peer Mentors, Changing Majors, Advising, Tutoring, Louisiana Educate Program, and MORE!!!
Simply click on one of the links below, sign in with your UL Lafayette credentials,
and join us as we answer your questions!
