Welcome Week is held during the first week of classes in the fall. This consists of activities meant to greet students as they come back to campus or arrive for the first time. These activities include:

Monday, August 26 - Fruit and Donut Give-a-way beginning at 7:30am - Located on the corner of Rex St. and St. Mary Blvd. University administrators, coaches and student leaders hand out the treats.

Wednesday, August 28 - Get On Board Day in the Quad from 10:00am-2:00pm - Student organizations across campus set up tables in the Quad to promote their organizations. Students are able to walk from table to table to help find the organization(s) that would be best for them to join. This gives students the opportunity to discover ways to get involved and make new connections.

Thursday, August 29 - Rec-Fest located in Rec Sports at Bourgeois Hall from 6:00pm - 9:00pm - Come see what Rec Sports has to offer at Bourgeois Hall and get information on intramurals, group x, fitness center, club sports, and the aquatic center. Join Rec Sports for a night of free food, activities all culminating in a Color Run at Bourgeois Park. Get there early, only the first 300 students will get to RUN!

Friday, August 30 - Breakfast in the Quad beginning at 7:30am - Students, faculty and staff get a chance to enjoy free breakfast in the Quad.

Block Party - Held on the corner of Rex. St. and St. Mary Blvd from 11:00am-12:30pm. This ends Welcome Week, a series of activities during the first week of classes in the fall. Students line up on Rex St. to get free shirts, drinks, bags, and sometimes even free rides on a mechanical bull.
